Production Manager – Metal Work Manufacturing
Location: Camberley
Salary: £45,000 – £55,000 per annum (dependent on experience)

Key Responsibilities: As a Production Manager, you will be entrusted with overseeing all aspects of our Housing Production Teams. Your expertise will be crucial in ensuring the efficient operation of our manufacturing processes. Your responsibilities will include:
- Taking overall responsibility for all Housing Production Teams, guiding and supporting them to achieve optimal performance.
- Developing and executing production plans, while effectively prioritizing and organizing work to meet production targets.
- Providing expert advice and escalating machine and process problems to ensure timely resolution and minimal disruptions.
- Managing the logistics of finished product release and transfer to the Despatch department, maintaining seamless coordination.
- Leading first-line machine and vehicle maintenance activities to minimize downtime and ensure operational efficiency.
- Monitoring production output, minimizing scrap, and ensuring on-time delivery of products.
- Ensuring strict adherence to quality system standards and implementing effective quality management practices.
- Upholding a culture of tidiness, cleanliness, and exceptional housekeeping standards within the production area.
- Ensuring full compliance with ISO standards and fostering a commitment to continuous improvement.
- Championing health and safety requirements, creating a secure and hazard-free working environment for all team members.
Qualifications and Experience:
- A proven track record of success in a manufacturing environment, with a strong emphasis on metal work manufacturing.
- Substantial experience in people management, demonstrating the ability to lead, motivate, and develop teams effectively.
- In-depth knowledge of production planning, processes, and operational optimization.
- Familiarity with machine and process troubleshooting, effectively addressing challenges to maintain smooth operations.
- Proficiency in adhering to quality control standards and implementing quality management systems.
- Strong organizational skills, including the ability to prioritize tasks, manage resources, and adapt to changing circumstances.
- A commitment to maintaining a safe working environment and upholding health and safety protocols.
- Experience with ISO standards and compliance is highly desirable.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, enabling collaboration with cross-functional teams.
- A degree or equivalent qualification in a relevant field is preferred but not essential.
