Responsibilities: As a Project Manager at our company, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the successful delivery of projects by:

Client Liaison: Acting as the primary point of contact between our clients and the company, maintaining a professional approach at all times.

Variation Management: Recognising, presenting, and negotiating variations with clients, collaborating with internal specialists as needed, such as Thermal Design Engineers and Mechanical Engineers.

Contract Management: Developing and managing contract programs to ensure activities align with project timelines and requirements, while tracking the status of specific duties.

Customer Relationship: Taking responsibility for customer contact post-order, facilitating internal communication to ensure Right First Time (RFT), On-time Delivery (OTD), and cost adherence to project expectations.

Voice of the Customer: Representing the customer within our organisation, leading customer queries post-order by involving internal stakeholders as required.

Safety Advocacy: Championing safe working practices and standards to prioritise successful project delivery.

Customer Visits: Conducting customer visits, including managing complaints, supporting sales activities, inspecting special items from suppliers, and participating in face-to-face meetings with customers.

Effective Communication: Leading communication across all departments involved, providing transparent updates to customers, including delays and additional costs as necessary and appropriate following coordination with the responsible salesperson and management.

Issue Resolution: Leading the resolution of discrepancies involving relevant stakeholders and, if necessary, the customer, ensuring resolution from both technical and commercial perspectives.

Cost Management: Verifying costs after the resolution process, ensuring all major items are included, and confirming materials, inspection, and certification align with the agreed scope of supply.

Contract Reviews: Completing comprehensive contract reviews and reporting findings and recommendations.
Requirements: To excel in this role, you should have:
- Proven experience in project management, ideally within engineering or manufacturing.
- Strong communication and negotiation skills.
- The ability to work effectively both independently and within a team.
- A commitment to safety and high-quality project delivery.
- Willingness to travel for customer visits and occasional on-site work.
