Senior Electronics Hardware Engineer
An exciting opportunity has become available for an Senior Electronics Hardware Engineer to join our engineering department here at our HQ in Huntingdon. Primary responsibility will include designing electronic hardware for Meridian’s range of audio products and understanding our business-to-business partners requirements to deliver consultancy and hardware design.
Main Duties
- Circuit design and simulation
- Schematic capture
- PCB layout
- Thermal design
- EMC and safety regulation compliance
- Creation and maintenance of design documentation & Software
- Commissioning of Designed Electronic circuits including debug, measurement, signal integrity and design validation
- Mentoring junior Hardware engineers
Skills & Qualifications
Degree or equivalent experience in a related field (electronic engineering, audio engineering, acoustics, physics, maths).
Required:
- Proven track record of circuit and PCB design.
- Experience of analogue, digital and power electronics.
- Mixed signal design, including test and measurement.
- Design for market compliance.
